What is a Celebrant? A Celebrant is a person who can offer you an alternative Ceremony for your Wedding – Civil Partnership, Renewal of Wedding Vows, Baby Naming, Hand-fasting and Unity Ceremonies.
A celebrant can be male or female. Their work is designed to make your celebration unique. The choice is yours!
Not all Celebrants have completed recognised training – always ask and check before hiring!
I am your local Black Country Celebrant – Maria – covering the Black Country and West Midlands areas. I am fully qualified to diploma level in Family Celibrancy and trained by the exceptional organisation – ‘United Kingdom Society of Celebrants’ – https://www.uksoc.com
A celebrant is used when a couple would rather have a personalised ceremony of their choice, which (for example) a wedding – a registry office or a church cannot offer. Maybe you don’t want any religious content, or a very small piece of religion – then the Celebrant is the choice for you.
No two ceremonies are ever the same – Nor should they be!
What is the difference between a Humanists and Celebrant?
They both do the same job! They can both offer a personalised Ceremony in any location. The only difference is the Humanist will not include any religious content.
